Lift for Life & 5K Road Race
Announcing the Lift for Life & 5K Road Race for 2015 means spring is so close! YAY! After this winter aren’t we all ready for warmer weather?
We will be hosting the Lift for Life & 5K Road Race on Saturday, April 25, 2015. All Proceeds go to the Walk of Champions to benefit Integrated Cancer Services at Baystate Mary Lane Hospital. It’s important that all funds raised stay local.
5K Road Race / Walk – road race event starting at Fitness Factory through scenic Ware.
Entry fee day of event is $25. Pre-entry fee is $20 by mail or in person no later than April 10th. Registration at 8:00 am, race starts at 9:00 am.
3 Age Groups:
- Student – 19 and under
- 20 to 35
- 36 and up
Fitness Challenge entry fee is $25 day of event. Pre-entry fee is $20 by mail or in person no later than April 10th. Registration and weigh-in at 9:15 am – events start at 10:30 am. There will be 5 Men’s weight classes and 2 Women’s weight classes.
There will be 3 events:
- Bench Press for Max Weight
- Axle Bar Dead Lift for Reps
- Truck Pull
Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers in each category.
Enter early as T-shirts will be awarded to the first 30 entries! Enter early to get yours! There will be some available for purchase the day of the event.
Remember even if you’re not participating in the weight challenges or 5K – we’d still like you to come on down and cheer on your favorites. Hot dogs and Hamburgers will be available for purchase. It’s such an exciting event!
Most of all it’s for a great cause – remember all proceeds benefit the Integrated Cancer Services at Baystate Mary Lane Hospital.
